{"id":914,"date":"2013-06-30T17:57:00","date_gmt":"2013-06-30T17:57:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.crac.hamcq.cn\/?p=1646"},"modified":"2020-01-16T10:04:00","modified_gmt":"2020-01-16T10:04:00","slug":"the-application-procedure-for-\u201camateur-radio-operator's-certificate-for-visitors\u201d","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.crac.org.cn\/?p=914","title":{"rendered":"The Application Procedure for \u201cAMATEUR RADIO OPERATOR&#8217;S CERTIFICATE FOR VISITORS\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In order to enable the amateur radio operators visiting People\u2019s Republic of China to legally operate from Chinese amateur radio stations, commissioned by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People\u2019s Republic of China , the Chinese Radio Amateurs Club (CRAC) has released the application procedure for \u201cAMATEUR RADIO OPERATOR&#8217;S CERTIFICATE FOR VISITORS\u201d as following:<br \/>\n1, The amateur radio operator visiting P.R.China from outside, who possesses a valid operating license issued by home radio administration, understands and commits to comply with the relevant laws and regulations of China, is eligible to apply for \u201cAMATEUR RADIO OPERATOR&#8217;S CERTIFICATE FOR VISITORS\u201d of a class approximate to the home license.*<br \/>\n2, The \u201cAMATEUR RADIO OPERATOR&#8217;S CERTIFICATE FOR VISITORS\u201d is the legal certificate for the operation at the existing amateur radio station within P.R.China only, but not for setting up an amateur radio station.<br \/>\n3, The application for \u201cAMATEUR RADIO OPERATOR&#8217;S CERTIFICATE FOR VISITORS\u201d is to be submitted to CRAC via email. The address is:<br \/>\nlicensing\uff20crac.org.cn<br \/>\n4, The following materials should be provided to apply for an \u201cAMATEUR RADIO OPERATOR&#8217;S CERTIFICATE FOR VISITORS\u201d\uff1a<br \/>\n1\uff09 Application form (Click here to download: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crac.org.cn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Application-Form1.doc\">Application Form<\/a>)signed by the applicant with the commitment to Comply with radio laws and regulations of China\u201d (in Chinese or English, submitted in pdf or jpg format. Refer to annex or be downloaded from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crac.org.cn\">www.crac.org.cn<\/a>\uff09;<br \/>\n2\uff09 Text version of visitor\u2019s information\uff08submitted in txt or doc format. Refer to Annex)\uff1a<br \/>\n3\uff09An image copy of the valid travel certificate and Chinese visa \uff08submitted in pdf or jpg format, with resolution no less than 1000 pixel in height\uff09\uff1b<br \/>\n4\uff09 An image copy of the home amateur radio license \uff08submitted in pdf or jpg format, with resolution no less than 1000 pixel in height\uff09\uff1b<br \/>\n5\uff09An ID photo \uff08submitted in pdf or jpg format, with resolution no less than 600 pixel in height\uff09\uff1b<br \/>\n5, Additional information possibly be required by CRAC in case of need.<br \/>\n6, CRAC will notify the approval of the application to the applicant and send out an electronic image copy of the \u201cAMATEUR RADIO OPERATOR&#8217;S CERTIFICATE FOR VISITORS\u201d via email for printing. The information of approval will also be published on CRAC website \uff08<a href=\"http:\/\/www.crac.org.cn\">www.crac.org.cn<\/a>\uff09 as an official reference of validity check.<br \/>\n7, Unless the applicant requires to fetch the physical certificate from CRAC office in person, no hard media material of the certificate will be posted to the applicant.<br \/>\n8, If the reciprocal agreement in amateur radio operation is signed between the administrations of the applicant and P.R.China, the application procedure is to follow the agreement.<br \/>\n9, No service charge is required for the mentioned application procedure.<\/p>\n<p>*Certificates issued after 1<sup>st<\/sup> November 2019, the class of \u201cAMATEUR RADIO OPERATOR&#8217;S CERTIFICATE FOR VISITORS\u201d is approximate to the home license, but no higher than class B.
